Managing Director
Responsibilities:
Objective
* Responsible for overall operations of the company by ensuring the achievements of its short-term and long term goals, objectives in accordance with the defined strategic directions and business expansion plans.
* Provide leadership in the country across all businesses and acts as leader of the country leadership team. Review the organizational strategy and building up the competitive advantage of the company in the current market trends.
Key Duties
* Provide overall direction and control of the organization, overseeing all functions.
* Develop and maintain close relations with potential business partners/clients and pursue business development activities and to seek for new business opportunities.
* Direct activities of the divisions and ensures that they operate in accordance with corporate policies and objectives.
* Formulate and recommend operation policies and objectives, ensure compliance and implementation of approved policies and objectives.
* Provide advice to the Management on matters pertaining to the Management and operations of the Company.
* Establish operational budgets and ensure that the budgeted goals are achieved and cost objective are met. Drives the business for the country and responsible to achieve the revenue, profit, growth and market share targets.
* Ensure availability of competent personnel for the operation of all major company activities by formulating, delegating and implementing development and communications program.
* Develops a high performance and motivated team with clear goals and objectives.
* Understands the addressable market and deploys an effective sales force to maximize sales and creates clear tactical and strategic direction to achieve the same.
* Develops relationships at senior levels with large Telecommunications companies to support the opportunities for growth of business.
* Manages the relationships with the local government and regulative authorities
* Develops the communications strategy to engage the employees in the companies continued success and growth.
* Oversees management of global accounts revenue growth.
* Deliver a clear strategy for the end-to-end sales process taking into account the corporate strategy and evolving industry dynamics, emerging markets and growth factors.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
* At least 10 year (s) years of working experience in a Senior Management role with an American or Multinational exposure with Industry experience in managing Hi Tech sector or datacenter infrastructure sector.
* Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Corporate Strategy/Top Management or equivalent with convincing personality, high energy and integrity. Strong problem solving and analytical skills .
* Strategic thinker with a positive attitude, initiative and proactive personality.
* Have good written and spoken skill in English and Mandarin. Ability to speak Bahasa Indonesia / Bahasa Malaysia and demonstrated strong ability to work in Indonesia.
* A good understanding of Telecommunications industry and sales experience in power backup or related solutions would be advantageous.
* Demonstrated successful experience in managing a local team in a Mid to large size organization. Proven ability to originate and manage multi-business deals.
* Strong Business and Entrepreneurial skills. Resourcefulness with an aptitude for calculated risk taking and creativity. Excellent General Management Experience.
* Result oriented leadership abilities and strong team player.
* Strong People management skills with motivational capabilities.
* Able to set appropriate goals and rallying the team to achieve the targets.
* Strong Financial and Operational capabilities with hands on attitude and leading by example.
