Estate Manager
Responsibilities:
* Candidate will assist the General Manager in all aspects of estate operation and management.
Requirements:
* A Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or a qualification in a related field.
* Bachelor Degree with major Agricultural will have an added advantage.
* Minimum 10 years working experience in a Plantation environment.
* Min. 5 years of working experiences in plantation management.
* Dynamic person with initiative, independent and ability to work under challenging environment.
* Good leadership and communication skill.
* Having experience with developing and implementing operating budget and capital budget to ensure the profitability and long-term viability of the company is essential.
* Required to implement the budget within agreed financial, physical, time, quality, and efficiency parameters.
* Experience in managing and the development of plasma farming is a added advantage.
* Responsible for managing the estate, which includes the nursery, plasma farmers, land preparation, planting, field maintenance, harvesting, transport and the running of emplacement infrastructure.
* Conversant with the use of personal computer is highly desirable
* English writing and communication will be a added advantage
* Willing to be based at remote area.
