Straits Asia Resources Limited. Straits Asia Engineering Pte Ltd is the engineering arm of Straits Asia Resources Limited, with focus on offshore marine construction business in Indonesia.
Due to rapid expansion in our operations, we are seeking the services of a highly qualified Contract & Legal Executive.
CONTRACT & LEGAL EXECUTIVE
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Contract Manager in the administration and preparation of Contract documents/policies covering operations in mining, marine and engineering.
* Maintain an updated version of all Contract documents (both soft and hard copies) at Jakarta office and review that these are properly implemented at our mine sites.
* Review of any contractual issues/claims/disputes between clients/contractors and provide analysis/recommendations for settlement.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering/Law or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration and preparation of contract documents
* Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
* Good knowledge of mining and marine works preferred
* Candidates with engineering or civil backgrounds would be an added advantage
* To be based in Jakarta but occasional travel to mines/sites required
